Located directly on the beach within walking distance of Pier Park and across the street from Gulf World, you would be hard pressed to find a better location on Panama City Beach.
The owners preach cleanliness. You may find newer accommodations on the beach, but you won’t find cleaner accommodations. The desk clerks, housekeepers and laundry personnel are responsible, full-time employees who have been employed at the Flamingo an average of 12+ years. They are all mothers, wives, husbands, fathers and citizens of the area. You will enjoy their friendliness and their desire to make your stay pleasant.
Value is the owners’ mission statement. They feel you build wealth by providing value to others. They have owned the Flamingo for 35 years and they publish their rates in advance with no add-ons or gimmicks. They do not charge for extra people, no parking fees, no cleaning fees, no surprises. Even local phone calls and Wi-Fi are free.
The Flamingo has every room size for every budget from the couple to a large family. They don’t claim to be a 5-Star Hotel, but they do claim to be just as clean and at close to half the price.
That philosophy appears to be working. You may have to call early to get the room or floorplan of your choice, but walk-ins are always welcome for that last minute trip.
